Greetings from the United States. I hope your December has gotten off to a great start! I have recently received confirmation that I may be able to travel to Indonesia to conduct grants-related learning sessions with members and project visits to occur within first months of the next calendar year. As the budget is restricted, I cannot confirm at this moment the extent of this trip. (Currently, the allotted budget will support travel for about a week.)
However, if possible, I would love to visit D-3410 and D-3420 and hold a joint learning experience on global grants for both districts if this is of interest. Beyond a talk, we could consider a workshop on global grants to address any main topics that generate difficulties among the members in this area. Would this opportunity be of interest to your region? If yes, please share potential time frames that would be ideal for this visit. If necessary and logistically feasible, this visit could also align with other upcoming learning sessions (such as district-wide trainings and/or grant management seminars) in Indonesia that you already have proposed. Moreover, what topics do you think members/clubs in your area would be most interested in, have more difficulties with, and/or questions about?
I appreciate any direction you can give me and hope to have confirmation if this visit is possible or not, so we can talk about specifics. For now, this is just an idea exploration that I hope gets to materialize. I’m looking forward to receiving your feedback and discussing how I can further support clubs in your area as they design and implement impactful projects.

Dear Jessica,
Thank you for your email and your willingness to visit Indonesia to conduct grants-related learning sessions. Although I have not yet formally communicated with DRFC PDG Raju, RRFC PDG Rudy, DGE Sanny, and DGN Sendarius, I am taking the initiative to propose a tentative date for the training in Jakarta on 17 January 2024. This will help facilitate our communication and coordination moving forward.
Please let me know if this date works with your schedule or if adjustments are needed. I look forward to collaborating and ensuring a successful learning session for both districts.

Thanks for your initial replies. It’s so great to connect! I am not sure on my route just yet. First, we would need to determine dates, locations, etc.
Just a clarification on the timeline. I think January would be too early for me to travel. We will have a lot of office closures for the upcoming holidays, so there will not be sufficient timing for planning/our internal travel procedures, etc. Originally, I was thinking some time around March or April would be great, but I noticed that Ramadan and Nyepi take place around this time. I’m not sure if that would be the ideal time for you all.
Ideally, the trip should take place some time before June 2025, since the end of the Rotary year is 30 June. (Note that June is also a very busy time in the grants area.)Please let me know if you have any other specific questions. I look forward to our continued
